We have been serving the eye care needs of our valued patients in our Kincardine and Port Elgin offices for over forty years. Our doctors
Dr. Robin Thiel
Dr. Robin Thiel graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in 1987. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991, also from the University of Waterloo. Robin moved to Kincardine where she began practicing alongside Dr. William Pym, and has pursued her career here while raising two children. Outside of work, Robin enjoys sailing, exercising, travelling and spending time with her kids, who are now away at university.
Dr Bill Pym
Dr Bill Pym grew up in Kincardine along with his five younger siblings. In 1967, Bill began his studies at the University of Waterloo and completed three degrees; Bachelors of Science, Masters of Science in Microbiology and Doctor of Optometry. He returned to Bruce County to start optometry practices in Kincardine and Port Elgin while raising three children with his wife, Susan. To relax from his busy career, Dr. Pym has enjoyed fishing, skiing with his family and adventure traveling with Susan.
Christina Pym
Christina Pym was born and raised in Kincardine, Ontario. She received her Honours B.Sc at the University of Guelph and is currently at the Illinois College of Optometry, earning her Doctorate of Optometry with the class of 2018. Christina is excited to follow in her uncle's footsteps providing eye care to the same community she grew up with. When not seeing patients, she enjoys hiking and spending time with family and friends.
